Since our founding in 2016, we’ve relied on the dedication, compassion, and hard work of volunteers to make our mission a reality. What Do Volunteers Do?
Our volunteers are the heart of everything we do. Here are some of the vital tasks you can help with:
- Repackaging diapers: Help us organize donated or purchased diapers into one-week supplies for families in need.
- Sorting and organizing donations: Clothing, baby gear, blankets, books—these donated items need to be cleaned, sorted, and displayed in our community room.
- Stocking shelves: Keep our diaper bank and community room well-stocked and ready for families who visit.
- Hosting diaper drives: Organize or participate in drives to collect much-needed diaper supplies from local organizations, schools, or community groups.
When and Where Do Volunteers Work?
Our diaper bank operates Monday through Friday, from 9 AM to 12 PM, at
130 W. Water St., Painted Post, NY 14870
Volunteers typically work during these hours to help us serve families efficiently and effectively. Volunteer hours also extend beyond the hours that we are open to the public. Please call us at 607-962-1736 to check our additional hours – which can change weekly due to supply, demand, diaper deliveries and donations. Finally, if you’re unable to work during these times, let us know—we often have opportunities to support the Baby Bank remotely or during special events.
